Job description
The Social Media and eMarketing Manager is responsible for ensuring active and engaged social communities (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr etc.) by managing and executing editorial content calendars, driving online conversations to build our client's product visibility and support brand awareness and engagement.
NetMechanic is looking for the right person who has experience and able to execute the following responsibilities:
- Development of social media strategies, promotions and campaigns
- Drive online advertising (Social Ads and Google Adwords campaigns)
- Drive PPC campaigns
- Dedicated digital content creation for all clients
- Development of innovative content angles
- Adapt writing styles to different audiences
- Writing of any digital content: blogging, websites, ebooks, social profiles etc
- Engagement with online audiences/influencers to grow following
- Conduct top notch analysis and research on social media trends
- Manage online brand reputation management and determine ROI of social efforts
We are looking for an individual with an in-depth understanding of customer engagement and social media.
You should have proven experience in solely developing and implementing top class social media strategies and digital communications campaigns.
Requirements
- At least one years' experience in Social Media
- You must be passionate about social media and the digital space
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Experience in driving PPC campaigns
- Strong communication skills in written and verbal format and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Identify, and own social platform strategy and execution
- Identify trends and new technology taking place in social networking spheres to help us stay ahead of the curve
- Work across departments to ensure alignment of all initiatives across all channels
- Drive compelling multi platform social strategy, designed to accomplish larger corporate objectives
- Drive new business development
- Create and manage a blog and build a brand network to promote the company
- Address social media complaints and identify trends and major issues
- Public relations, Marketing, Sales, Community Management, SEO experience would be an added advantage
Advantageous
- Marketing or Communications degree or diploma
- SEO experience
- Google Adwords and Analytics experience
- Writing experience in the Education space
- Awareness and insight on how social media can add value to a business
- Strong analytical capability with experience in forecasting and website analytics
