The Centre for Prospective Students (CPS) is responsible for developing and maintaining the webpage, www.maties.com, for prospective students and recognises the reality that prospective students are often introduced to Stellenbosch University through this website. The needs and preferences of prospective students are therefore constantly taken into account in the on-going development and maintenance of the website. This and the increasing popularity of www.maties.com as a communicative tool with prospective students motivated the CPS to obtain the assistance of Netmechanic to redesign the website in 2010.
After setting up a meeting with Garth Howard we knew that we were on the right track. He convinced us to have our website redeveloped on Nettoolbox and when we received his initial proposal we knew he was spot-on. He interpreted our needs and managed to create a website that not only match our brand but also transformed it into a user friendly and appealing website for our target market. The outstanding quality, technical know-how and the brilliant creativity of the design team is positively among the best available.
NetMechanic has since developed a number of innovative features for our website and extending maties.com to include mobile functions as to reach a wider audience.
The new and improved Maties.com was launched on the 2nd of March 2011 and received with overwhelming positive feedback. In the six months of the new and improved Maties.com a total of 211 452 visits have been recorded on the website, with an estimated average of 1 155 visits per day.
Working with Garth and his team is a pleasure. They all are friendly, accommodating, and patient. I strongly recommend NetMechanic to do a professional job.
Yours sincerely
